General
- You are responsible for booking your own travel and hotel arrangements. We provide recommendations and information on our event website, including suggestions for travel and accommodations.
- Occasionally, we may have a special deal with the event hotel that offers a discounted rate for a group booking. All the necessary information will be available on the event registration site.
Registration fees are for the event itself. Travel and hotel costs are a separate cost covered by the attendee.
- During the registration process for any event that involves food and drinks, we'll ask you to let us know about your dietary restrictions. Our event planning team will do their best to accommodate your needs. If you have specific and significant restrictions, you can even bring your own food.
- If you want to discuss your situation further, feel free to contact our event planning team at events@foundationsoft.com. We're here to ensure you're well-fed and happy.
- If there is any special transportation provided, we will clearly communicate it on the event website. However, most of our events are held right at the event hotel. Everything is conveniently located in one place.
- If you have any specific transportation questions, feel free to email us at events@foundationsoft.com.
- Keep an eye out for a "Know Before You Go" email before the event, as it will provide all necessary travel information.
Logistics (For In-Person and Virtual Events)
Nope! Dress comfy and casual, even for the end-of-day networking events. Layers are helpful, it's like battling the Arctic in those hotel ballrooms! We do ask that you refrain from wearing anything offensive.
Absolutely! All paid events come with a workbook.
Registration
- On the homepage, you’ll find descriptions of every event with links that take you to each event’s individual page.
- From the event-specific page, click on “Buy a Ticket,” and you’ll be redirected to CVENT, where you'll fill out a registration form. If there's a fee, you'll also have the ability to submit your payment.
- Once registered, you'll see a confirmation page and receive a confirmation email.
-
For every event, you’ll receive a confirmation email followed by reminders as the event date approaches.
-
Our communications will be sent from either our foundation software events address or @CVENT.com, so make sure those are marked as safe senders.
Only CONVERGE allows guests. Event activities are strictly for those 18 and older.
All other events do not allow guests.
They are not. For our in-person events, we need to make sure we have enough food, drinks, venues and vendors; we've also got to coordinate presenter accommodations, room setups and class materials, so we need a set headcount.
For virtual events, our CVENT registration portal needs time to sync up with our GoToWebinar platform to prevent technical problems.
No worries, life happens and we get it. However, we won't be able to give you a refund or offer partial payment options.
For virtual events, you'll receive a recording of the event.
For in-person events, we are unable to provide any sort of recording. If you're attending to earn CPE credits, leaving early will affect the number of credits you receive — we are only allowed to give credit for the time you were there.
If you're canceling an in-person event, please send us an email to let us know.
Refunds, minus a $50.00 administration fee, may be given for cancellations sent to events@foundationsoft.com at least one month prior to the event start date. Cancellations made between 3 and 30 business days in advance may receive a 50% refund of registration fees paid.
Both cancellations made 2 business days prior to the event and no-shows will receive no refunds. Substitutions are available at any time for no additional cost.
- Here’s an example: For events that start on Monday, you have to cancel by 11:59 p.m. on the Tuesday prior to the event to receive the 50% refund — remember, we’re operating on business days, weekends not included.
For virtual events, cancellation is refunded in full as long as the cancellation occurs 3 business days prior to the event. If you cancel within three business days, you will receive a 50% refund and you will be allowed access to the material.

Yes! Nearly every FOUNDATION event we host is eligible. But you need to let us know that you're here for the credits when you register: there's a yes or no button in the form fill.
When it comes to webinars, earning CPE credits is a case-by-case basis. Check the individual registration page for more info.
For our in-person events
All you have to do is show up. Sometimes, we'll have a mobile app check-in process, and other times, it'll be a sign-up sheet. We'll make sure to clearly communicate the check-in and check-out process.
Virtual events
Note that virtual events work a bit differently. To get credits, you'll need to actively participate in the polling questions that we launch throughout the event. It's all about showing your engagement, so you’ll get credit for every question you answer — and there’s no requirement to give the right answer.
